PerfusiX-Image Guided Surgery (IGS) strengthening the Future of Real-Time Perfusion Monitoring
LIMIS Development has taken a significant step to strengthen the development of our PerfusiX-Imaging technology. This advanced device, based on Laser Speckle Contrast Imaging (LSCI), enables real-time visualization of blood flow in tissues, providing healthcare professionals with crucial information to enhance patient care in various clinical settings. With the project PerfusiX-Image Guided Surgery (IGS), technology-concept will be developed to address other medical needs.
Objective: Developing a robust and user-friendly system in collaboration with medical centers UMCG, LUMC, and MCL to enable healthcare professionals to accurately monitor tissue perfusion in real-time. This innovation directly enhances decision-making in the treatment of vascular conditions, post-operative care, and acute medical situations.
Results: The PerfusiX-IGS system enables quick and reliable detection of changes in blood flow, leading to higher diagnostic accuracy and supporting healthcare providers in optimizing treatment strategies and improving patient outcomes.
This project is made possible with financial support from the European Union and SNN, which enables us to continue developing and implementing this technology in clinical practice.
