PerfusiX nominated for the NVvH Innovation Award 2023
PerfusiX-Imaging has been nominated for the Innovation Prize by the Dutch Surgical Association (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Heelkunde)!
Along with other significant innovations in the surgical field, PerfusiX-Imaging has a chance at the Innovation Prize 2023. This is an important award designed to stimulate innovation and development. The winner will be announced during a plenary ceremony during the ‘najaarsdag’ in Den Bosch.
PerfusiX-Imaging is a device capable of generating real-time perfusion maps using laser light during laparoscopic gastrointestinal procedures. Accurate real-time information on perfusion could significantly improve postoperative outcomes. This might prevent substantial health risks and mortality, accelerating postoperative recovery.
Notably, it is environmentally friendly alternative. This innovation doesn’t require additional disposable components, minimizing waste.
